On 11 November 2017, Creating Rights was invited to give an art workshop at the annual conference of the Great Lakes Region diaspora group from The Hague Peace Projects at the International Institute for Social Sciences in The Hague, The Netherlands. The theme of the third edition of the conference was Women and Men and Peacebuilding.

Fiana Gantheret, Director of Creating Rights, together with Justin Kabika, an artist-activist from Congo volunteering with Creating Rights as a peacebuilding expert from the Great Lakes Region, gave a presentation on the influence of art in peacebuilding processes, as well as participatory workshop designed to bring the audience to question their own understanding of the issues at stake.

Thank you for the invitation, The Hague Peace Projects!
